The Clinical Microbiology lab start its activity in 2005, at the same time as the institution of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Molise, of which Prof. Roberto Di Marco is one of the teachers and founders. The laboratory consists of two spaces located on the third floor of the III Multifunctional Building of the University, at the Department of Medicine and Health Sciences Department of Medicine and Health Sciences “V. - Lab A dedicated to the microbial cultures
- Lab B reserved for the manipulation of cell lines for in-vitro studies on the activity of microorganisms and molecular biology.
The staff members working in the lab over the past 16 years of activity have provided scientific and guidance support to undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to the academic training of over 100 students.
The “laboratory”, thanks to its ability to attract external economic resources, over the years has been able to promote the establishment of research grants, collaboration contracts and research grants for meritorious young graduates.
